Heating failed - Bed

in 3D Printing

I was printing correctly and suddenly it has started to paint and it has marked this error:

Error:Heating failed, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed

[ERROR] Error:Heating failed, system stopped! Heater_ID: bed

Error:Printer halted. kill() called!

[ERROR] Error:Printer halted. kill() called!

[ERROR] Can't read from printer (disconnected?) (SerialException): call to ClearCommError failed

[ERROR] Can't write to printer (disconnected?) (SerialException): WriteFile failed (WindowsError(5, 'Acceso denegado.'))

Could you help me to check what can go wrong?

When doing the heater bed test, the red led turns on but now the temperature does not rise, everything was correct until it stopped working.

Double check that the thermistor connection for the headed bed hasn't come undone from the mainboard. I had this problem when moving the printer around.

fixed and curiously not because the base fan makes less noise :S

I used a hot glue gun and fixed those in place :/

In the end that was not the problem. I thought I had fixed it but it was one of the power supplies that was failing. I put them inverted and the hot bed worked but the printer did not receive enough power (so the base fan did not make noise) Now I have to get a new power supply with the same characteristics. The blue led of the power supply that fails flashes constantly, it is rare that it fails if it is practically new ... Do you recommend any model?

Sounds like one of the capacitors went.

I have been going back and forth on getting a 300w meanwell and building an enclosure for it. Then rewire everything so that there is just a single connection. It would make the mosfet assembly obsolete and save a bit of room. Plus it would be cooled by its own fan and highly reliable. Every time I start thinking about it, though, I come back to realization that I should at least getting mine to print better before I invest time in it doing that.

Message @Makertech and see if they'll send you a replacement. After that I'd suggest looking on Amazon for a comparable one. It shouldn't be too difficult to find.
