I see the temp changes in Marlin, what are the Stalling changes? I ask because I put my settings into Marlin, not my Slicer, also my steps and PID are different than stock. That way I can switch slicers and not have to reconfigure it. But that means I can't blindly upload modified Marlin to my printer...

The only changes in Marlin were the Temp changes in the configuration.h file (10, 3, 1), they should help resolve the pausing from the way Cura handles Temp control. But in most cases the pausing was being caused by a setting in the touch screen firmware.

The biggest changes were made in the Cura software.

If you've customised marlin and are happily using another slicer then we'd recommend just updating the touch screen firmware.

After updating my touchscreen firmware, I get horrible overextension. But when checked the extruded length is correct. And somehow I also get some extra/unwanted parts printed that do not show in cura or the gcode.

I want to downgrade to the old firmware. Please provide a download for the old version. I went from perfect print results to complete garbage.

@Richard

There is a reset switch on the back of the touchscreen that should clear everything, after that you can re-upload the firmware and that should resolve any issues.

When updating make sure that the update files are the only files on the SD card.

Also check your SD card for extra files, they might be printing via the auto-resume feature.

It will be really helpful if we could see the date that you updated the software downloads in your page, so we can compare dates with our files.
