While I agree with most of your points(OK all), and I completely share your frustration at not having a working printer for what might be another 6 months or more, I also realize that this is a KS campaign.
The cash outlay was considerable for the backers and the release wasn't ready for prime time which leaves the backers in an understandably agitated mood. That being said as long I as I end up with a functioning dual extruding printer at some point I will be satisfied. As a backer I am expecting to receive what I supported but I also realize that not all creators have all their ducks in a row and that is in many ways the point of KS. To support those who want to step out and go into business for themselves so they can learn. I have backed over 50 projects and none have gone 100% smoothly. And all of the creators learned a ton of lessons about the process of bringing a dream into reality as the people at Makertech are learning now. This is imo the best thing about crowdfunding. Pure capitalism at work. Backers provide capital to creators with ideas that backers like and believe in and the creator is then under pressure to deliver. They find the best ways to do things by making mistakes and improving. This is not a call to let up on Makertech. Backers need to help them by pointing out what is going or gone wrong. As the OP does and without a whole rant which is important.
So yes I am not happy that responses to questions are slow if at all. I dislike knowing that I will have to replace all my missing or bad parts myself if for no other reason than there is an ocean between me and the creators (A lesson I have learned about backing very technical or complicated projects from overseas.) But honestly that is part of risk backers take on KS.
So while I am not pleased about the current situation but I do have belief in the Makertech team that it will all work out in the end and only time will tell if I am right.
I'm going to watch the NHL playoffs now.
