@Thomas S There are two ribbon cables that connect EXP1 and EXP2 on the mainboard to the same plugs on the LCD board. First, make sure that each cable is going from its plug on the mainboard to the corresponding plug on the LCD board. Now, if you're having problems like some of us did you'll need to get a hobby knife and remove the index tab on the black plug. I did this on the EXP1 cable that plugs into the LCD side. You can then turn the plug around backwards in plug it into the board.
i had this turns out the grey cables needed the black bit cutting off as they was the wrong way around.

Correct, the area in red needs to be trimmed. This will allow you to insert it 180 degrees (backwards) on the LCD board's socket for EXP1.

and after cutting this "nose" i plug it back but change it to 180°?
