My fingers are too big and I have arthritics. I am stuck at trying to get the posts above the LCD and cannot go any further. I had to order jumpers because I kept dropping them and need a tool to put it on.
All the screws are loose because I cannot tighten them.
I am about to give up and throw it in the trash.
So far I have spent about $ 130 in power tools.
I agree, I had to open up my 100-piece toolkit for the various bolt tighteners. I am probably younger than you and tried using my fingers for the first 10 minutes and realized that was futile. There are some really annoying steps in the assembly too, like fixing the z-axis screw stabilizer, which can only be done with a tight wrench grip and an awkward hand position. I think I might go back through the guides and leave notes for future assemblers for what I think should be important. That way people don't make the same mistakes or waste time like I did.
id recommend looking into a different brand printer as this one is complete and utter garbage. if you can try and sell the machine to recoup some of the costs. this machine is not worth the time and headaches trust me.
