How do I change the hotend X/Y offsets?
I modded my printer to use Slice Engineering Mosquito Magnum hotends.
Not only is the hotend a massive upgrade, but now I have precision Z height adjustment.
However, the Mosquito hotends are a few MM longer than stock, so the X offset is incorrect.
I attempted to modify the "variables.cfg" file, but that does absolutely nothing to the offset.
Thanks,
David
David,
How did you mount two Mosquitos to your DSH? Is the servo strong enough to move them reliably? (I'm having servo problems right now)
Any chance you'd share your PrusaSlicer machine profile? (is there really anything special about the Makertech Cura that can't be done in a custom profile on PrusaS?)
That is wired... setting the variables in variables.cfg should do the trick. Did you restart Klipper after making the change in the file? Also, make sure you have a
SET_GCODE_OFFSET X=0 Y=0 Z=0 MOVE=0
in the T0 macro and
SET_GCODE_OFFSET X={svv.x_off} Y={svv.y_off} Z={svv.z_off} MOVE=0
in your T1 macro.
You can close this thread.
I'm using Prusaslicer and set the offset in the slicer.
