Flexi bed, sticky sheet

in Hardware Components

Curious what this material is? I haven’t tried PLA on it yet, but it’s a disaster with PETg, removing the print either destroys the item or tears up the sheet. Previous been using BuildTak, works well with PETg.

The material is a poly-carbonate blend, but we're considering switching to PEI.

You should be able to fix a PEI sheet onto the other side of the flexplate and print on that with PETG with a little more success.

Having started printing more with PETG, too I have to agree - I just destroyed my flexbed trying to remove a print. Can I already order a PEI sheet or can you recommend one?
