I think you should go to configure a brand new Cura installation (latest) yourself. It isn't that hard. I did it by starting both versions side by side copying everything over. The only thing I am stuck with is using the "nozzle size dropdown" like with the old Cura versions...
To use the shipped filament/material presets you can look inside the Cura folders. There you find the files you need to copy.

That is on my todo list. But not on top. There are some other things, which i have to get properly working before.
The latest Makertech Cura is built upon V4.6.2.
