i checked the cables, checked the jumpers, done everything as shown in the manuals twice. now getting the following.... wht to do??? start

I know you said you checked things twice, but the ALL LOW MAXTEMP triggered can be caused by an incorrectly set up hotend thermistor.
First turn the printer on its side so that when looking at the mainboard the top of it is where all the connectors for the power are located and the bottom is where the LCD connectors plug in. It's actually helpful to look at this: https://github.com/Makertech3D/AXIS/blob/master/MKS%20Gen_L%20V2.0_001/MKS%20Gen_L%20V2.0_001%20PIN.pdf When looking at the board in this orientation the bottom and left portion of the board will contain three almost identical connectors. The bottom most connector is for the hotend thermistor. If you're looking at the PDF I linked it's the bottom right most next to the screw. I had trouble with mine staying in the connector and ended up putting a small bit of hot glue on it. It's also easy with all the wires hanging out to plug it into the heated bed connector.
Hopefully that takes care of it. If not you might have damaged your thermistor when setting up the hotend. To check, carefully remove the hotend from the print head. Remove the cooling fan from the heat sink. Then carefully loosen the thermal coupler screws and remove the screw retaining the thermistor. Check that there are no breaks in the wire. Also make sure the clear shielding hasn't been pulled back enough to expose the thin copper wire. If the wire is broken or the wire makes contact with the heater block then you can see this error. If the wire is unshielded then carefully try moving the clear covering back over it and then reassemble. You can check that the thermistor is functioning by using a multimeter. The 100k thermistor should read around 10 kOhms for room temperature (I just quickly googled a graph for a 100k thermistor at ~25c room temp).
