is anybody tries to upgrade the mount ot the hotend? Or the complete mount? May be to the Afterburner? The mount of the hotend is a bit strange, may be is there a improvement possible?
After my printer say "NO" to me, i think about a upgrade:
Hello,
i have to replace the heater cartridge and the thermistor. Which one you would recommend? Further i would like to replace all hotend fans with better ones, @Johannes Weis, maybe you got a recommendation too?
For the separable plugs you‘d need the right tools to crimp the cables for the plugs or you can use Wago clamps or something similar if crimping is too much of a hassle.
btw, I‘m at 25-30mm/s retraction speed and ~1mm retraction length.
Looks like a wood filled filament combined with a .4 nozzle. That massive clog isn’t really caused by the printers hardware but rather by a mismatch between the filament and the nozzle. Next time try a .6 or larger ;)
I thought about attaching another mount but neither afterburner nor EVA really fit to the X-axis of the Proforge so we would have to design something on our own.

I would like to make the connections separable, is there anything I need to consider? Like here:
Thank you
Hello Johannes, it is a 0.6 nozzle. I think, it was a retract of 40. Now i understand that to fast retract kills the printer.
