Hello all,
I have noticed that some problems are caused by the hotend fans. On the one hand, the fans whine strongly at lower speed and on the other hand, they only start to rotate at all at just under 40% speed setting. Below 40% they do nothing at all.
Are the fans defective or can it be corrected otherwise? I print a lot of ASA and would like the fans to run slowly.
Or is there a fan shroud for normal 40mm noctua fans?
Thank you.
@Johannes Weis I would have bought it sooner or later anyway, the " heißes Endstück" will probably be delivered Tuesday ;) This translation😁
Ok, thank you for the answer. Which Phætus Dragon HotEnd is the best allrounder for abs, asa and polycarbonate? High flow or standard?
Good advise , order is placed.
On the other side I have bought too many nozzles for the original hotend to buy a new hotend now, may be later. Or will it fit? Which material do you use on the Z achses fix?
Hello again, is the temperature here the problem?
Or i got to much flow at lower speed?
Thanks!
Thank's!
My fan on a backside stand still while printing? Do i have activate it separatly?
Thank's.
I don’t think Noctua offers radial fans. You could however design a fan shroud for standard 4040s.
As for the 40% problem this should be fixable in the firmware with fan cutoff something something. It’s a feature implemented to make sure the fan isn‘t driven slow enough to stutter.
