Is there a guide to setup PF3 into the new cura 5.0 for Mac?
I tried and improvised with the guide for Cura 4x however landed me in so much mess that I had freshly wipe out both my Cura 4 and 5 and start a new.
So I am now fresh with Cura 5 installed, temporarily using their custom printer setup however I wish to have a tidy Makertech-optimised setup.
Hey I know this is an old thread, but I've been away from printing for a while. I've just tried to fire up my printer and it seems that things have changed under my feet - Cura has upgraded itself to 5.2.2 and has forgotten all about how to talk to a ProForge3.
Any clues about how to get back to a working configuration? I've tried importing the stuff from the Makertech-Cura_Resources repo and that failed (twice: first time round it didn't seem to change anything, second time round Cura just crashed at startup with a stack trace).
Does anyone have a working copy of Cura on MacOS that can print to a ProForge3? I think I'm going to have to go back to old versions of everything and work forward, which seems pretty tedious especially if someone has already been through all of this.
I was wondering that too. Presumably copy and paste the start and end g code and copy the other settings?
Is there any difference between the mac and Windows versions of cura, settings wise?
Cheers
