I began working on a marlin firmware for the printer because I don´t know when makertech will release it. I know that Johannes started working on a klipper firmware.
I started on it today and i´ll try it out this evening, when I´m at home again. Maybe someone has a few tipps or ideas for it :)
I guess that this thread can be considered closed, because Makertech released their firmware a few days ago. If anyone needs the original version with the inverted axis, here is the link:

and also consider switching to the Klipper firmware from Johannes, did this yesterday and everything works perfect!
Hi, i could correct the published firmware for inverted axes and now all seems to work fine. Currently doing the first test print, i will update results once finised.
Current state:
-Octopi and Klipper installed - working
-Hotend and thermistor - working
-Bed and thermistor - working
-All axis - working
-Homing the printer without crash - working
To Do:
-Look after the Octopi power supply board - not sure if not working or bad wiring
-Extruder - Not tested
-Exruder steps - to do
-Bed leveling - not tested
-Second part cooling fan - not implemented
-Print a cube to sort out the steps - to do
Not sure if possible:
-Bed tilt
Currently not working:
- ABL
- part Cooling fan 2
- steps for X and Y are false
Made the first tests with my firmware, there is still a lot of improvement to be done, but its good for testing ^^

Hi, I’m the one who’s currently on a klipper config.
Just as a heads up, I have ordered an NTC thermistor for the HotEnd since the Pt100 likely needs an amplifier board to function reliably.
