Promises and fulfillment so far

in Proforge 3 General Discussion

Generator used for Table: https://www.tablesgenerator.com/html_tables#

Short Edit: This table and the pressure I could make with it is not meant to be defaming or anything. I am very glad of taking part in this journey so far and working with the ProForge 3 has been a blast! I am looking forward to see those promises getting fulfilled by the team.

@Makertech 3D Keep up the great work! The printer has so much potential everything that happened so far, every post, every update and everyone here are making it better day by day :)

As for the PT100s:

"The probe included with the Proforge 3 is not a PT100. We decided to include a high temp thermistor instead as we were having issues with the amplifier board we were originally going with"

Which is a good thing imo

Do you have a part number and source for the thermistors that you have provided?

I've heard from someone that built the DSH kit that he had a problem with the thermistor cables failing from the head movement, so it might be good to be able to get spares of parts like this.

@Steve Bennett it should be a cheap version of trianglelabs D500 (at least the temperature table is pretty much the same).

I used the temperature table from the one in the link with accurate readings:

it also looks the same as the proforge one. I don’t know if it’s the exact same but it’s close enough to be a direct replacement.

as for number 9. I've been having a lot of issues with their version of Cura. Eventually decided to switch to Prusaslicer with my own profile. It seems to work much better now.

I'll have to make a profile for high detail and high speed prints as well but once done I'll share them

@Akisame - Hi would you be willing to share what you have currently set up in Prusaslicer? I prefer Prusaslicer and I was planning on setting a standard profile up but I thought I would ask before I started tinkering! I would be really interested in your High Speed and High Detailed ones too when they are ready!

@Akisame - Hi like @Luke Westwood asked is it possible to share your Prusaslicer profile? I didn't use it yet. Would be nice as starting point.

Here you go: https://pastebin.com/pxwzpQpx

My proforge broke so I can't test anything anymore until makertech comes back at me with their warrenty which.....I am afraid is going to take a while

Let me know if you find improvement points
