Long story, but after sitting for years, I finally got the Proforge 2S Dual built. But it will not print. I had nothing but problems, including the servo burning out after the first test. Bought a new server, and that is working great. Also since I have the model with the older heat bed, the PCB will not stay attached to the bed. I know there is a newer Aluminum Heated Bed, but before I spend more money on this machine, I want to get it working. My BIGGEST problem is I cannot print at all. Trying to print the DSE Cal print. It starts heating the bed to 50C but because the temperature fluctuates so much, it will never stabilize enough to start heating the hot ends. The temp fluctuates between 49 and 56 degrees C. Merlin requires the temp to be within 3 degrees for 10 seconds before it will move on. (same with Hot End) This is what it looks like on idle. I saw this forum post Fix for temperature fluctuation and other issues | makertech3d I followed both suggestions, doing an AutoPID, and adding a 1000uf low ESR cap to the 5v line, no difference. I made sure all connections are solid. Any ideas on how to get the printer working?
