So I have received my other printer and I have been greatly impressed with the quality and the ability to print right after I assembled it. I had one problem and it was with bearing that were too tight. Once I fixed that I have been printing nonstop with no errors. The following are printed using Cura slicer with the default setting and the other slicer software with the basic setting. The Silver is the other PLA while the purple is the MakerTech PLA. Thank you Also it seems like I will have some spare parts and if any has a "quality" idea for them besides stick them.......... I would like to see and or hear it. Thank you for the forums.

The second power supply went out today. This is getting stupid. I cant believe the amount of things that are sub par on quality.

I cant find what the default nozzle size is. I thought .3, but it might be.4. I am working to adjust layer height and I was wondering if anyone has an answer. thanks

So far i can only get 20cm cubes to print. And it is the x-y-z cailbration cube with my x-axis all wiggly. Show me something that you print using at least 250cm x 150cm by 150 cm to prove that this printer can do what it was promised to do. You show me that then I will quit complaining and fix this myself. No matter how much I clean the bed with alcohol, or put tape down or put sticky stuff down, everything always pops off. I have cleaned out the extruder tip, tried new tips, adjusted the temperature of the default blue and red (temp from 190 to 210 in 3° increments) even though they showed up brittle as crap I get nothing but spaghetti out of this printer. I have lost a power supply, I had the short hot end leads, I didnt get the correct guides. I mean nothing has worked or been on my side. The dual extruder, wow, what a P>O>S. Please help me to get the $395 worth out of this printer. I will gladly sell this to someone for $300 and include my extra 3 rolls, two of which havent been opened. I paid for every extra that I could, and I still lost money and time. I wish I had spent it on a Prusa. And on top of that, where is the MakerTech support? They say let the community solve it, then they dont have to do anything.

I think that the reply that this is a kit, users will have varying degrees of success is a cop-out. When I dont have the correct end guides and instead I have to use 3 excentrics to make the gantry level, that is crap. I should at least have the parts used in the instructions. I need 2 fixed ends guides on each set. Then for the dual extrusion, well the instructions dont match how they have their pictures either. Ive put things together all my life so I know troubleshooting, but not giving people the correct pieces is just setting us up for failure and giving bad reviews. I love the kickstarter idea, but Im starting to get burned by other peoples ideas. I think Ive learned my lesson now. You get what you pay for. There is no company giving out free information.

so one power supply failed. Overheated while trying to print. I had run the printer for about 5 hours and on the 6th print(every one before this failed for one reason or another) it just quit. So I have no hope that it would last the 1day for some of the larger prints. I have gotten other items fixed as I went, but this one stops me dead.

I am using PLA+ purple with a temp range of 205-225. I am using a temp of 219 and a hot bed temp of 50. The print will get in for about 60 minutes and anything after that will not stick. Sometimes I get a clump on the nozzle and that knocks things off. Ive tried things with more than one starting point, think of legs, and those will only stick 3 legs until the 2nd or third layer. In all cases so far the only thing I get to stick is the Benchy test print. The Moai, that is another item that I posted in another thread.

So my dual print has a major problem when switching colors. It seems like the "y" connector has too much of a bend and this causes problems if Im not watching it. Maybe I could make it real short like the pictures? Also maybe the extrusion tubes could have a loop in them to help with the bending? I would just need to figure out where the tubing came from.
