Hi David, were you able to resolve this? We were able to recreate the issue, with the firmware.bin file on the sd card and it inserted into the board and powered up, hit the boards reset button (a small black button near the thermistor plugs). This should allow the board to then install the firmware file. When requesting the serial id in terminal you should get an output with the word "klipper" in it.

Hi David, attached is a new firmware.bin file generated with updated klipper. Unzip the file and copy over the firmware.bin file to your micro SD card.

Is the firmware.bin file on the SD card in the control board turning into a firmware.cur file - to suggest it has been uploaded to the board? It may also be possible that since the writing of the guide the creation process of the firmware.bin file has been changed by klipper and it needs remaking - regardless we will investigate.

That PSU should be OK. I would also look into a Meanwell branded one, that is what we're using on the new Proforge 3's.

Hi Jay, That;s quite the collection you've got there! We have all of the components for the upgrade ready, they just need assembling with the possibility of some adjustment to the printed parts. There may then be a problem with the control board. Try unplugging everything except the LCD screen and then power on via mains. Does the LCD screen come on?

Hi Sarukar, Have you checked that you are getting 24V to the control board. You can check with a multimeter or power on the printer with out connecting via USB, LED's on the board should flash on.
