I came to the realization that I needed to implement the BED_MESH_OFFSET, and I thought I knew what I was doing, until I read your post... :) Now I'm not so sure... Can you explain your SET_GCODE_OFFSET and BED_MESH_OFFSET xyz values for T0 and T1? I thought that the GCODE didn't need an offset because there is a PROBE_OFFSET. And I thought the BED_MESH_OFFSET was just the xy difference between nozzles t0 and t1? I'm obviously not as experienced with Klipper as I need to be for this project... But to be fair, I thought the upgrade was going to include a fully configured firmware. *sigh*

David, How did you mount two Mosquitos to your DSH? Is the servo strong enough to move them reliably? (I'm having servo problems right now) Any chance you'd share your PrusaSlicer machine profile? (is there really anything special about the Makertech Cura that can't be done in a custom profile on PrusaS?)

Olivier, why do you recommend have the start code in a macro, instead of the slicer? I've not seen that before, so I'm wondering what the advantage might be? Thanks.

Hmmm, I've tried a new ribbon cable, and the CPU doesn't seem to go above 50%... And I'm still seeing lag. Oddly enough, is not all the time. Sometimes it's quite responsive, but I can't tell what's causing it. I was just about to try my "first print" when the DSH servo arm stripped out. *sigh* Another problem to solve... I may try some active cooling when I get a chance...

I am running a Pi4 with 2gb. I do have heatsinks on the Pi, but no active cooling. Throttling is an interesting possibility; I hadn't considered. Is anyone else having throttling issues? Does anyone else activity cool their Pi?

hmm Upon further research, it appears that you all (@Makertech 3D) have added a commit to the official Cura source to include the Proforge 3.5 definitions, but it is waiting on your input. The Commit was marked as Draft back on Dec 30, waiting for you to update and resolve the bot suggestions. Would you please finish this out? It would be a huge help for those of us that are 1yr invested in the Proforge...

I have a couple of machines that need a compatibility option in the latest Cura 5.3 and I would like to use my Proforge in the same software. On Windows, will the Proforge be added to the official Cura baseline? How do I load the existing Makertech definitions into the latest Cura 5.3 beta? When I copy them into the resources folder, the printer does not show up as an option.

I'm just about where you are too... I just loaded the software last night. Excited to try running it today... You need to shutdown, and flip the switch on the side of the touchscreen to change it's orientation. I added it as a comment in the instructions...

Thanks for the photos! That's great! I like that you used a partial segment of cable chain; that was a good idea... That way you don't have to worry about the chain binding/bunching-up, like what I was fighting. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your experience (I haven't gotten that far on mine yet). It helps up hear what others have seen. Could you share some pictures of your cable chain and how you mind it? I've be trying to figure out a clean way to do that, but regardless of where I mount it, I end up with the chain hitting a wall at some point in the head travel... Thanks!

Wow, that sounds great! Would you be willing to share the design? I'd love to hear how you make out switching with magnums... I've considered moving to them a few times, for my bigger machine. But without switching/lifting ability, I'm not willing to invest the money... Thanks for the tip on switching the wire! I was thinking I'd have to do that in the config or GCode, but moving the wire would be infinitely easier!
