Why can i not print if i select only the second print head?

in Makertech CURA

Hello,

Why can i not print if i select only the second print head?

I deactivated the first one and set the model to the second.

Since the print head crashed a lot of times in the print bed is the nozzle gone.

But before i have time to change the nozzle want still be able to print (or at lest to try). Because the printer seems to like more crashing the head into the print bed or printing in the air than printing at all.

Most likely a problem on your end because I can slice and print with only extruder 2 enabled

I have version 4.6.1. Makertech edition 2.

The program freeze also for a few seconds whenever i change between extruder settings.

To reproduce it, just open Cura, load a model, set it to head two and deactive the other head. Try to slice....

Still working fine on the most recent download of Cura. Are you sure the items on your build plate are set for the extruder you have left enabled?

Hello. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, i tried a few times to switch first both on, select then the second extruder and switch after that the first off. If i press "Slice" button, then there are some errors.

Tried it just now again, with another model, and not via popup menue.

Would say, that can be clearly called as learning curve, it works!

So, means forget the popup menue, use the buttons at the left side of the window and all is good.

Thanks.
