Having started printing more with PETG, too I have to agree - I just destroyed my flexbed trying to remove a print. Can I already order a PEI sheet or can you recommend one?

Ok, so I switched material and on hotend 1 the PETG prints just fine even for >4h. What might cause the printer to stop when printing on hotend 2 only? Should I re- upload the touchscreen firmware? Had not used the reset button when updating previously...

@daryl smith So far I feel that Adeel is very supportive and responsive dealing with the problems and I still hope that with a few tweaks I'll get it running stable. Overall impressed of the precision and happy with the printing results. Stability of the system is what's missing and I hope this can and will be fixed by a software or firmware update..

Disconnecting the filament sensors did not solve the problem either. Could this be related to higher temperature when printing PET? I only had this problem printing on Extruder 2 with PET (Both hotends @210 Degrees and Heated Bed at 85 Degrees). Does not really depend on the file I am printing it seems - aber out 20 minutes in the printer freezes... Printer hangs up and does not resume even when starting new. Seems when freezing the hotends and the printbed stop heating ...

I still experience the random freezes (not at the exact same spot and trying different SD Cards) - specially when printing on hotend 2 only (no nozzle switching within the print, Temp 210). No PC connected, no Octoprint connected. Happend twice now on a 27 minute print between 80 and 92%. Any suggestions what to do?

Dear Adeel, I now have loaded PETG on Extruder 2 and PLA+ on Extruder 1. When printing on Extruder 2 (both brims and actual model) both hotends head up to the PETG Temp of 210 Degree (PLA+ Temp is set to 195) and the temparature is kept for the entire print for both hotends. I would have at least expected Extruder 1 to only heat up to 195 Degrees. Any ideas what might be wrong and how I can fix it? I was pretty sure I did both updates (touchsceen and marlin). Dear St-Blum, I had a similar problem where layers seemed to shift quite a lot during print despite the fact that the flexible printbed was fixed. In my case, the X-Axis belt was fixed to tight so sometimes the printbed did not move at all and sometimes it was kind of jumping after managing to overcome resistence. After loosening the screws on the support wheels my prints came out super smooth! Good look and I keep my fingers crossed this works for you, too. Best regards, Denis

I am experiencing very similar problems. After a pretty much perfect calibration print I went for the two color cat print in the download area. Whilst generally precision seems quite good I have traces of extra filament after each extruder switch. Tried to add layers of the Tape but it wont really fix the problem. Adeel, any suggestions how we can prevent this from happening?

Fixed it :) reason was that the x axis was to tight particularly on two spots which caused the "hopping"...

With my replacement servo I used Pronterface to finetune the servo ankles (details described in the build manual comments) on positions 1 and 2 and changed the values accordingly in configuration.h (Arduino IDE). Had no trouble with servo since then and I have printed quite a bit...

It seems that many people are having troubles with the servo dying after a few switches or that certain positions stop to be working on the touchscreen after some time or the first prints. Might the firmware or some setup in cura cause the servo to die? Once I receive the replacement servo, anything I can do to make sure this one will live any longer?

I do have a very similar problem with the servo. It worked fine on initial setup and was switching finde from Position 1 to 2 and 3 before the first print. Initiating the first print for DSE setup just as mentioned in the build guide I had a very strange and loud sound which I think was when my Servo died. Now it wont react to any commands. Also in Pronterface I can send commands wich M280 P3 SXX and receive the corresponding degree when sending M280 P3. However, the servo is not moving any more. I guess that is a strong indication my servo died? Thank you very much in advance for any help on this!
