In order to properly fine tune my 2s Dual I am looking for a systematic way to fine tune my printer to perfection especially with regard to retraction amount and speed (both nozzle switch and travel), print temperature and material feed rate. I read a bit about temperature towers requiring to manipulate g-code files. Would anyone have tipps on how to approach this. I feel I need a more structured approach than just trial and error for the fine tuning. Thought about retraction towers for nozzle switch & transport and temp towers as a start... or is there even a beat practice step guide for fine tuning printers (with dual extruders)?

I have tried the DSE calibration print three times now. Whilst generally the calibration seems to work (pretty much aligned parts), everytime during the print at seemlingy random moments, the entire print shifts 0.5 - 1 cm towards the X- Axis and therefore making the print useless. I can definitely rule out that the flexblade is moving or the print was moving on the printbed. I have redownloaded, resliced and used a different high quality SD Card I usally use for my DSR- Camera but the problem pertains. Any Ideas what could be the reason and how to fix it? I never had this behaviour with single extruder prints so far so it must have to do with re-locating the starting point after hotend switches.

In Dual Switching Hotend v1
I have made all updates (Cura, Marlin, Touchscreen) uploaded earler this week and was expecting that when printing with only one hotend, the other hotend should not heat up any more. However, this still seems to be the case. Do I need to change any settings in Cura when printing with only one hotend or did something go wrong updating software/firmware?

I have been able to print quite some smaller objects (cute dragon, fan shreds, calibration print dual extruder) and as long as I have a proper brim/raft things work out smoothly. Trying to print larger objects, the printer does not manage to print a proper first layer - so the first layer wont stick and the print will fail eventually. Any tips what could be the reason? Uneven build plate? How can I fix this? I already ordered the aluminum one and hope this will fix the problem. Would be a pitty not being able to print larger objects altough the printer generally would be able to handle it dimension wise. In "recommended" mode it seems it is not possible to choose between a brim, raft and customise them so I guess I have to switch to "custom" mode? Would help also for the large objects to print a larger brim/raft? What would be a plausible setup/customizing for it? Thank you very much in advance for any tips (very new to 3d printing) or hints to good general tutorials on 3d printing and printer fine tuning.

Hello Everone. Super happy and exited to share my first print here. Any suggestions on the fine tuning? Overall looks good I think with slight room for improvement on the edges... Thank you very much for any tips to make this even better...
