This might be helpful. I've added the z offset plugin to Cura, and increase the offset to 0.1mm. It seems to improve layers on the test cube, will test it with a larger print job.

Have anyone had failed Power Supply 24V 380W? The fan on the Power Supply 24V 380W is not running and the unit making high pitch noise.

In my case it was the power supply. After I replaced it, the printer is now online & working. But, you are right fans are loud, could not run an over night print job :( May look into replacing fans. If possible could upload photos of fans you replaced?

Don't if anyone will find this useful. Just confirmed got a dead power supply. voltage output is only 4V.

What I have done so-far Repeat Step 8, re-load the firmware. But, only one hotend fan is running. But, not the electronic fan.

Made folloing changes to the software:- configuration.h #define THERMAL_PROTECTION_HOTENDS #define THERMAL_PROTECTION_BED which call a couple configuration details in configuration_adv.h #define WATCH_TEMP_PERIOD 20 // Seconds #define WATCH_TEMP_INCREASE 2 // Degrees Celsius #define WATCH_BED_TEMP_PERIOD 60 // Seconds #define WATCH_BED_TEMP_INCREASE 2 // Degrees Celsius Still getting heating failed at approx 160 deg (temp set to 200). For both hotend Any suggestions?

Servo motor making high pitch when in position 1 or 2.

Replaced the servo with TowerPro MG946R Servo 25T 13kg / 0.11sec / 55g. Had tro dismantled the servo motor to get it into the slot. No loud noise and it is switching between 1 & 2.

I'm getting the same problem with the servo getting jammed when switching positions. Is it worth getting another servo with higher torgue?
