My Z-baseplate would not level consistently using the Z_TILT_ADJUST routine in Klipper. The leveling would not converge or start diverging after the 6 iterations. I had to resort to manually turning the Z-couplings to pre-level the stage. I used a tri-square to measure the baseplate height to the top of the frame, turn the couplings until the bed was close to level then Home All. I noticed that the Z-base did not want to be level. I would have to hold two couplings to keep the base plate level and press the Home button at the same time. I did try loosening the Z- screws to the Z-frame, the red brackets to the frame screws and the red bracket to linear slider screws, block the Z-stage up so it was somewhat level, then carefully tighten the screws. This only worked for one day then the Z-stage warped back to un-level. I noticed that the Z1 coupling (L R) would pull apart. This type of coupling needs end pressure to stay together. I had brass strip 6mm W X 0.4mm Thk X 750mm L that I cut into 36mm lengths then bent 3mm tabs at 90 degrees to make clips that would hold the Left Rear coupling together. I used a small cable tie to keep the clips in place. Now the Z_TILT_ADJUST routine works correctly getting the bed to within .005mm of live in three tries.

I use "Z_TILT_ADJUST" in my Start GCODE: ;----------Proforge 3.5 Start G-code---------- G92 E0 ; Reset the extruder motor. G28 ;Home Z_TILT_ADJUST ; Level the 4 Z motors. BED_MESH_PROFILE LOAD=mesh_60c G0 F8000 X120 Y25 Z0.80; Move the nozzle to the front edge. G1 F4000 X260 E20; Prime the nozzle. G0 Z0.2 ; ----------Proforge 3.5 Start G-code---------- Does it adjust each Z-motor to make the bed level? How close will it get the bed to level? Is the adjustment persistent?

I found that on my Proforge 3.5 the servo ground wire was connected thru the add-on relay. The servo motor was trying to send current backwards thru the signal connection. This caused the servo motor to heat up and stop working during the ARM_INSTALL macro. I Bypassed the relay (out of the circuit) and ran the ARM_INSTALL macro which left the servo motor power on for 24 hours. The servo motor was cool, as it should be. The servo connection on the BTT SKR 2 board matches the connector on the servo motor, ground, power(+5), & signal, Brown, Red, & Orange. Happy Printing!

Hi, I am trying to use the 2nd nozzle on my Proforge 3.5. The DSH works from the console, GCODE, and the Extrude function on the touch screen but fan 0 is always on and fan 1 does not turn on even though the temperature is To=33 & T1=200. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have the Bed Mesh enabled and have done a hot calibration. Does the bed mesh data get saved into Klipper? If I power down the printer is the calibration lost? How often do I need to run it? Will the calibration compensate for .66mm? Thanks.
