A week or so ago I saw that there was a part of the guide available for the DSE up, but now when I go it's back to a blank/no instructions. Is there an unofficial guide or an ETA on the guide?
@Ashwindec11 you can for the time being attach the raspi USB-C to the USB outlet on the mainboard to power it. My buck converter came defective and I had to do this until the parts for a selfmade one were delivered so it’s confirmed to be working.
Next few days seems to be a very vague term. I started building the printer probably what, 3-4 weeks ago? Still waiting to assemble the enclosure/ DSE/RPi (though I'm assuming the Pi is straightforward, would like "official" guides to make sure so I don't make anything explode). Already made the mistake of skipping ahead and accidentally installing the X endstop where they Y endstop should be (Only saw on the Direct Drive instructions that the X endstop wires were longer than those of the Y endstop).
But I understand there is only so much manpower resources available I would rather them rollout the instructions "right" than "quickly." Still confused though why there were half instructions up a few weeks ago but now they're gone.
@Ashwindec11 installing the octopi is pretty generic, just follow along to any guide on youtube. The enclosure upgrade is pretty self explanatory but if you need a guide, Frederik made a post about a week ago with accurate instructions and a bit of humor to go along with it :)
Haven‘t got the DSH myself so no clue about that one.
It's not installing octopi, it's making sure the wiring for the rpi is correct (rpi to 5V adapter to printer).
Also:
Still says in progress but this was what was up earlier but then disappeared. I'm keeping it up as an open tab now lol.

Well, as we all know, the build manuals should be released (as always) within the next few days :D
You can more or less use the official Guide of the non Proforge DSH:
https://makertech-3d.dozuki.com/c/Dual_Switching_Hotend_v2
as I know, the firmware is already uploaded on their GitHub.
the mounting process to the CoreXY system should be like the one from the original Hotend.
